Special Agent Sheraun P. Howard, FBI Dallas Division
Special Agent Sheraun Howard is a 13-year veteran of the Federal Bureau of Investigation and is currently a member of the Dallas FBI Cyber Task Force. During SA Howard’s career, he has investigated numerous Cyber related crimes to include Cyber Terrorism, Espionage, and Financially Motivated Cyber Crime. In the summer of 2013, he served as the FBI’s Assistant Legal Attaché in Lagos, Nigeria, to assist with Computer Fraud investigations.
From 2017 to 2018, SA Howard served as a Supervisory Special Agent at FBI Headquarters in the FBI’s Cyber Division, managing the Cyber programs for eight field offices, and serving as the FBI’s Threat Manager for Ransomware Investigations. In August 2018, SA Howard returned to the FBI Dallas Cyber Task Force.
Mark A. Houpt – Chief Information Security Officer, DataBank
As Chief Information Security Officer of DataBank, Mark A. Houpt brings over 25 years of extensive information security and information technology experience in a wide range of industries and institutions. Mark joined DataBank in September of 2017 with the acquisition of Edge Hosting.
(CISO since 2015). In his leadership position, Mark’s responsibilities include strategic planning, oversight of security and compliance, as well as providing subject matter expertise for developing and maintaining a comprehensive, integrated information security and compliance program.
Mark is a successful security entrepreneur, previously owning and operating a security consulting firm and hosting a security blog. He has been responsible for security and compliance solutions at Fortune 50 financial and banking institutions, health care entities, the CTO in a higher education institution, a technical operations manager in a startup as well as the role he credits for starting it all, a Cryptologist with the U.S. Navy.
Charissa Hightower, Manager, Consulting Services Team, Anomali
Charissa Hightower is the Manager of the Consulting Services Team at Anomali. Charissa creates and operationalizes custom workflows based on best practices within Intelligence Community to operationally and strategically address threats. Ms. Hightower provides gap analysis and recommendations on building and maintaining Threat Intelligence programs and serves an advocate for Anomali customers, ensuring that they effectively use and integrate Anomali’s ThreatStream platform and other intelligence solutions.
Ms. Hightower is a former U.S. Navy Cryptologic Technician, with a cumulative 15 yrs. in the Intelligence Community (IC) as a target analyst and reporter. Charissa has spent time working several high-priority missions to include: Counter-proliferation, Counter-narcotics, Network Intrusion, and served as the lead SIGINT reporter and analyst for numerous global military exercises.
Most recently, Ms. Hightower was the Global lead for Cyber Threat Intelligence for Hewlett Packard Enterprises Managed Security Services, where she established and directed their first Cyber Threat Intelligence program.
Michael Anderson, Vice President Partnerships, Intel471
Michael Anderson is a cyber security intelligence leader with 20 years of expertise built from serving as a Special Agent with the US Air Force, an adjunct counter-intel professor, and establishing strategic intel capabilities for Fortune 100 companies. He’s well practiced in operational and strategic cyber intelligence methodologies to sustain and protect business operations. Michael is currently VP of Partnerships and Alliances for Intel 471 where he continues to develop intel framework to drive and empower organizations.
Travis Farral, Chief Security Officer, LEO Cyber Security
Travis is a long-time veteran in cybersecurity. Over his tenure stretching back to the 90s, he has worked for companies such as Nokia, ExxonMobil, and Anomali. He is an international speaker and author of many articles. His areas of focus include attack detection, threat intelligence, and industrial control systems security. Currently, Travis is CISO at LEO Cyber Security.
Chris Camacho, Chief Strategy Officer, Flashpoint
Chris Camacho leads the company’s sales and client engagement & development teams, which also includes customer success, solution architecture, business development, strategic integrations, and the FPCollab sharing community. With over 15 years of cybersecurity leadership experience, he has been an active member of the FS-ISAC Threat Intelligence Committee and spearheaded initiatives across Operational Strategy, Incident Response, Threat Management, and Security Operations to ensure cyber risk postures align with business goals.
Most recently as a Senior Vice President of Information Security at Bank of America, Mr. Camacho was responsible for overseeing the Threat Management Program. An entrepreneur, Mr. Camacho also serves as CEO for NinjaJobs: a career-matching community for elite cybersecurity talent. He has a BS in Decision Sciences & Management of Information Systems from George Mason University.
Sarah M. Sabotka, Head of Global Cyber Threat Intelligence, Experian
Sarah M. Sabotka is the Head of Global Cyber Threat Intelligence at Experian whose mission is to collect, analyze, and disseminate information from advanced analytics, threat hunting activities, and critical threat assessments. Ms. Sabotka has experience working an array of cyber investigations with the organization’s Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) teams: Threat Detection, Incident Response, Digital Forensics, Insider Threat, and Global Investigations.
Before joining Experian, she was an Associate Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst at another financial organization. With an unconventional path to information security, Ms. Sabotka’s previous experience includes investigating Internet-based animal cruelty cases, both domestic and international, for an animal protection agency located in Virginia. Today, she focuses on nation-state threat actors as well as cyber-criminals, with a particular interest in supply chain attacks and third party risk.
While at Experian, Ms. Sabotka has established many successful threat intelligence initiatives fostering close collaborative relationships with counterparts at other credit reporting agencies and credit scoring analytic services, as well as local and federal law enforcement agencies. Ms. Sabotka holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from University of Connecticut (UConn-Storrs) and a Masters of Science in Cybersecurity from Utica College, with concentrations in Cyber Intelligence and Digital Forensics. She is an active member within the cyber community and various organizations such as the FBI Citizens Academy Alumni and FBI Infragard.
