In this presentation, John Ford (Cybersecurity Strategist at IronNet) will highlight the existential threats hitting the healthcare sector, detailing down to who is attacking hospitals vs. who is attacking research organizations that are developing COVID-19 vaccines, testing products, and treatments designed to reduce the impact and duration of the virus. John will also speak about the likely motivations of the “Big 4” nation-state actors (China, Russia, Iran, and N.K.) with respect to misinformation campaigns and social amplification, data manipulation, and why it is important for them to create confusion with the election results.

Justin “Hutch” Hutchens (Practice Lead with Set Solutions) will close out the presentation by demonstrating a Table-Top Exercise (TTX) that can be performed for healthcare, government, and other organizations. The TTX presents simulated security incidents to an organization’s internal response teams to help that organization better understand and improve technical control coverage, the maturity of response processes, and the clarity of defined roles and responsibilities.

A gift card for lunch will be sent the day before the webinar.
